Our Fossil Day

We learned about animals that died long ago. Fossils are leftover parts from dead animals. We learned that if a dinosaur died next to a river, the mud would wash over it and preserve its bones as fossils. We had ice fossils as well because wooly mammoth fossils have been found in ice because mammoths lived in snow! We dug up fossils from a clay brick and from ice. We learned you have to be careful when digging up fossils so you do not break them. WE put the bones together that we dug up, it was a model of a T.Rex!
